Not going to lie, purple is not my favorite color ever but the more research I did on the shade for this post the more I started to grow to like it. I tried selecting different yarn styles for everyone from super chunky to the classic and super affordable cotton. The one common theme is every yarn mentioned are all natural fibers. Because its still cool to be eco friendly in 2022 right?

One of my favorites I included is the Southhampton Mohair. Mohair is all the rage right now and can take any project to the next level. I recently ordered some in Natural and can’t wait to incorporate it into a ultra cozy cardigan or shawl.

From Left to Right are the following colors:

Dusty Lilac in Paintbox Cotton DK

Pale Lilac in Paintbox Cotton DK

Dark Lilac in Valley Yarns Southhampton (Mohair)

Periwinkle in Malabrigo Worsted

Lila Dusk in Hooked Ribbon XL Solids

Lavender Hills in Artyarns Silk Mohair

And of course these are just a few of the many many gorgeous shades of purple. I also highly recommend for that really special project to go small and find an indie dyer! My all time favorite is Olive and Two Ewe. They have a super fun weekly podcast and some GORGEOUS hand dyed yarns in high quality bases.
