Amigurumi:

The patterns, I have chosen to make come from these two, great books!

As for the yarn, I plan to use Sidar Happy Cotton, I got this kit, below, on Amazon for a great price! I’ve previously bought this yarn from a local yarn shop and its perfect for amigurumi. The stitch definition is gorgeous and incredibly durable. With 50 different color options ranging from pastels to jewel tones, there is a shade for everything. I plan to use any leftover yarn for washcloths. If you want to get adventurous they also have a fun chenille version!

My complete list of 21 amigurimis that I hope to complete for Christmas!

Kawaii Crochet: Apple, Cup w/straw, Creamsicle, Orange, Banana, Lemon, Pencil, Ketchup, Pear, Baby Bottle, Ice Cream Cone, Milk and a Corn Dog.

Whimsical Stitches: Cupcakes, Mug, Bell Pepper, Berries, Eggplant, Onion, Pineapple, and Tomato.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and that it inspires you to create handmade gifts for your loved ones this holiday season!
