Just reading through the pattern for the first time, and am wondering if in row 1 if blo means the back bump of the chain or not, or does it matter there? Also, “Each row ends with a slip stitch, you will skip it at the start of the next row”, apparently, does not start until row 3. Is that correct? Thank you! I want to make this.

    1. Hi Peggy!

Thank you for pointing that out. This was my very first pattern and oh my have I learned so much since.

Yes, it is a typo and should be the back bump of the chain. And with the slip stitch, I realize now, the note about skipping the single crochet at the beginning of the row is conflicting with the actual pattern. You will not skip that stitch and work it as the pattern says to. I believe I was planning to skip it and then it didn’t create the clean edge that I was looking for so I changed it and missed that in the notes.

I hope that all makes sense and I definitely plan to give this pattern some love and refreshing soon!
